Hip-Hop Rumors: BMF Wives Reality Show in the Works?

Holy huge handbag! We hear there’s another fake “wives” show on the way. Get ready for some more drink throwing, hair pulling and love triangles, BMF style!

According to Ozone Magazine, the significant others of several members of Big Meech and Terry Flenory’s infamous Detroit drug cartel, BMF (Black Mafia Family) are filming a reality show. The BMF carter were all busted in 2007 and charged with several drug and money laundering charges. Below is a chart of the infamous BMF crew

Here are the descriptions of the cast members below:

Tonesa Welch (far right), wife of Terry Flenory aka the “Shaunie O’neal” of the show. Tonesa calls herself the “First Lady of BMF,”and hopes to help tell Terry’s side of the BMF story.

Gricelda Chavez is ex-girlfriend of the snitch, music producer Damon Thomas. If his name sounds familiar it’s because he was Kim kardashian’s first husband. Damon was a player in a BMF money-laundering scheme involving jewelry purchases and, when confronted with the evidence, agreed to cooperate with the government as a witness against Terry. Wonder what this means for Tonesa and Gricelda’s relationship?

Lisa Buford’s boyfriend is “PJ,” a high-ranking BMF affiliate on Terry’s side of the organization.

Tiffany Gloster actually went to jail for two years for her role in BMF. This ride-or-die chick is the girlfriend of Jerry “J Rock” Davis and helped launder the proceeds from J Rock’s cocaine sales. J Rock is currently serving a sentence of 39 years and 10 months in prison.

I’m not sure we need another “wives” show with so many on TV already, but people can’t seem to get enough of them. Will you be tuning in?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Big Meech Defends T.I., Says He Never Snitched!

Ever since T.I. got off with a very light sentence for getting caught with an army of weapons and ammunition, people have accused him of being a snitch. BMF boss Big Meech doesn’t like that very much, and he’s speaking out about it.

In a letter to Straight from the A.com Big Meech writes:

“There is no person in the Federal or State system that can say or saying that “T.I. Clifford Harris” snitched on them. I’m tired of people spraying his name when his plea deal and sentencing transcripts is “ONLINE.” You pay $40 to get on “Pacer” and you have access to all court documents on any person in the “UNITED STATES.”

Well, that clears that right up, doesn’t it?

DJ Paul’s Half Brother Craig Petties Linked To BMF

(AllHipHop News) A man testifying in the drug dealing trial of Memphis native Craig Petties told jurors yesterday, that the group funneled millions of dollars in cocaine to members of Black Mafia Family.

Craig Petties, who is the half brother of 36 Mafia’s DJ Paul, is currently on trial for dealing tens of millions of dollars of drugs from Mexico, in the United States.

According to testimony yesterday by Georgia native Torrance Hill, thousands of kilos were moved from Mexico to members of BMF, which was headed by Demetrious “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.

Torrance Hill was no small drug dealer.

According to the police, Hill raked in over $9 million a month, while dealing drugs for the Petties organization.

Drug shipments would be sent to Hill in Georgia four or five times a month, starting and 2003.

Shipments were no less than 150 kilograms and were as high as 500 kilograms.

Hill said that one time he received a shipment that was 2500 kilograms, which was worth more than $50 million on the street.

Sometimes the drugs were shipped through FedEx, but most times, Hill would meet 18 wheelers that carried the drugs into Georgia.

The drugs would then be sold to dealers in Georgia, Alabama, Tallahassee Florida, Mississippi and parts of North Carolina.

Craig Petties, allegedly a member of the Gangster Disciples, has been labeled the biggest drug dealer in the history of Memphis.

According to officials, Craig Petties received his drugs directly from Edgar Valdez Villarreal aka La Barbie, the incarcerated leader of the Beltrán-Leyva Cartel.

As a drug dealer, Petties lived a lavish lifestyle and amassed wealth and property.

Authorities seized two houses, valued at more than a million dollars, and twenty luxury vehicles.

The testimony is part of an ongoing trial to dismantle the Craig Petties organization.

The information about BMF came during the trial of two hitmen involved with organization, that are accused of multiple murders.

Big Meech’s Former Girlfriend Sabrina On The Long-Lasting Legacy of BMF

$

The Black Mafia Family (BMF) remains a story of legend. One of the biggest criminal drug gangs in recent history, BMF allegedly made over $270 million in drug sales. And, as an aspiring record label, they garnered the attention and the ear of the Hip-Hop industry. The leader, Big Meech, is still a name constantly dropped in rap songs and profiled on television shows.

Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory is currently serving the fourth year of his 30-year sentence at Lewisburg U.S. Penitentiary, a maximum security prison, where he is under a 23-hour lockdown. Flenory was recently transferred after violence erupted at his former Jessup, Georgia prison, where over 200 inmates had started wearing BMF tattoos. Proof that his name and legacy continues to far-reaching influence.

Today, June 21, on Big Meech’s 44th birthday, AllHipHop.com sat down with Sabrina Peterson, Meech’s former girlfriend – with his permission – to talk about the man behind the myth:

AllHipHop.com: Thank you for talking to me, Sabrina. What do you think is the biggest misconception about Meech?

Sabrina: That he was ruthless and cold. When people think of a Boss, they think of a cold-hearted person. I wouldn’t say he wasn’t intimidating, but he wasn’t mean. The motive behind this whole thing from the way he explained it to me, he just wanted to see dudes run together, be a family, and everybody be on the same level money-wise. It went all bad, but the initial intention was good.

AllHipHop.com: Do you think that if he could he would change things? What would he do differently?

Sabrina: That’s something I would have to ask him, that’s such a personal question. I can say what I think he should do differently, but I didn’t create his empire, and I can’t be the person to say how it should have been created differently.

AllHipHop.com: What would you do differently, if anything?

Sabrina: I don’t think I would do anything differently. We had a debate one time about how flashy he was, and how maybe he shouldn’t be so flashy and maybe he should slow down and not throw money in the club, or put billboards up everywhere. His response to that was that he was already going to jail. Every n*gga that do what he did always ends up in jail. And this was way before he went to jail, he said, the difference between him and them is that he is going to get letters. But, for other guys, no one may care if they go to jail, but they also won’t care if you stay. The downside for Meech is that because of his influence, people on the political side care that he stays there.

AllHipHop.com: What did you learn from him?

Sabrina: What I learned from him? Wow. A lot. I learned marketing, I learned public relations. I learned how to deal with people a lot. I learned a lot from his lessons, such that you can give the whole world to some people, and people won’t reciprocate it back. As far as when it comes to my business, I would reach out to him, and he would give me business advice.

AllHipHop.com: It seems like you all also had a mentor type relationship.

Sabrina: Definitely. He gave me a lot of advice on my businesses. He was my go-to person. When I don’t know how to deal with a new dude I’m dealing with… he actually called me once out of the blue and told me to lose weight [laughter]. Those are some of the things that make him really, really special to me. I’m proud that he’s proud of me. For me, I loved him so much and I cared about him so much, it was always in the back of my head to show him that he needed me, I captured his heart through my hard work and my hustle. When I want to give up on my salon or my business, I find my strength in him still.

AllHipHop.com: What is your relationship like now? How often do you talk?

Sabrina: Since December, I can’t talk to him. Prior to that, as much as we could. He only gets 300 minutes a month; however that rations out between a call here and a call there. He still has to call his son’s mom, his mother. He loves a pen pal, so he has girls, fans, who have written him that he might talk to. I’m happy for them, because without them, it would be hard for him to hold on. It’s part of my probation. For the three years that I’m on probation, I can’t talk to him.

AllHipHop.com: I’m sure that’s difficult.

Sabrina: Yeah, it’s real difficult, because I need him. When he is going through all of this stuff, I can’t be there. Through his daughter, she is able to talk to him about me, and I am able to find out how he is doing. Sometimes it feels like the only way we can communicate is through energy.

AllHipHop.com: What was dating like after him?

Sabrina: It’s wack. You got a man with big body parts, big money, big shine, then you see these other dudes, they got ok-sized body parts, ok-sized money, ok-sized shine. [laughter] At the end of the day, those things are attractive. The level of respect and power he had was an attractive thing. He’s a hard act to follow. You got all these n*ggas out here who want to be him or be like him. You got one dude in your bed and your main dude on The History Channel, your heart, and your mind. You go to the club, you hear, “I think I’m Big Meech,” and the dude you with dancing to the song. [laughter] It’s a hard act to follow.

AllHipHop.com: What would you tell other girls about that lifestyle? Or being with a man with that lifestyle?

Sabrina: I would tell other girls… don’t get caught in the flash. Once you get to a certain age, you need to know that fast money stops, fast men get slowed down. You don’t want to get so caught up, especially here in Atlanta. These young girls are attracted to the flash and the glitz. But there is a flipside; the flipside is some days are painful.

I’m 33, and I’m starting over again. When you choose that lifestyle, it eventually chases up. I didn’t know when it was going to catch up to me, but I’m glad it did, because until it does, you barely sleep. Always looking over your shoulder, wondering which car is the cops, but I ran my business from a standpoint of fear because I never knew when the Feds were going to come in a take it from me. Now, I can move on with a clean slate and tell my story. Maybe somebody will see through what I went through and make different decisions.

AllHipHop.com: What were you indicted for?

Sabrina: I was indicted for seven drug charges. I was convicted of lying to a federal officer. That’s what I’m on probation for.

AllHipHop.com: Was your indictment related to BMF?

Sabrina: No. It was after Meech.

AllHipHop.com: If Meech was to see this article, what is something you would like to say just to him?

Sabrina: That I love you. I’m going to keep grinding and keep shining. They got me f*cked on this Federal probation thing, and I’m glad to be able to actually say this to you. I’m hearing about what you are going through; I’m hearing about Lewisburg. Stay strong. Don’t go crazy in there. Don’t lose your mind and lose your sanity, because that’s what they really want you to do, they want you to bow down.

I know that you got everything it takes to maintain and continue to be the boss that you are where you at. I feel bad that I’m not powerful enough to make the moves that I need to make for you. It frustrates me every day. I hope that my prayers are enough to get you through right now. I ain’t going nowhere as long as you ain’t going nowhere. I might be with a hundred n*ggas but only one n*gga got my heart.

21 Questions with Big Meech: AllHipHop.com’s EXCLUSIVE Two-Part Interview

$

Big Meech was once the biggest cocaine kingpin in America. The United States government alleged in his notorious 2005 indictment that the Black Mafia Family (BMF) had generated over $270 million in drug sales. In fact, in addition to his incarceration, Meech has been ordered to repay $270 million, virtually guaranteeing that he will never earn an income from his infamy.

He’s now incarcerated under a 23-hour lockdown. Unable to have phone calls or visits until early 2013. However, he does receive dozens of letters regularly. And he answers them.

When AllHipHop.com interviewed BMF founder, Big Meech’s ex-girlfriend, Sabrina Peterson, we expected to learn a little more about the man behind the myth. Little did we know, we would learn it from the man himself. The BMF boss cleared up a few inaccuracies in the Peterson story. For example, there were only 20-25 inmates in his former prison with BMF tattoos, and he has not been incarcerated for four years, but seven. After hearing about and getting a copy of our interview with Peterson, Big Meech wrote AllHipHop.com to tell his story.

We sent Big Meech a series of questions, asking his opinion on his prison sentence, and his relationship with Young Jeezy, which strangely enough, appears to be on rocky ground. We even got his opinion of President Obama. Here are his answers, edited only for spelling and grammar (at his request):

AllHipHop.com: Do you regret any of your choices?

Big Meech: No, because the risk has always been worth the reward in most of the choices I made in life, and not all things are by choice when you are a child growing up in the ghetto without a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.

AllHipHop.com: Why did you start selling?

Big Meech: My brother, sister, and I grew up in a household with both our parents. Neither of my parents had any type of drug or drinking habits. We were raised in the church, so we prayed for everything. When the food stamps and the WIC program box of food was late, then we pray. When the electric and gas got cut off, we pray and to pray is to have faith that God is going to help you or show you the way to help yourself, faith without works means nothing so after many nights with the gas and lights off and going to school with holes in the bottom of my 2 for $15 Payless shoes, and my brother and I wearing the same clothes every other day. Then, we had 30 days to come up with $7,500, or else we would be put out in the street. My brother and I had to find a way to make some fast money, so we hit the streets and came up without having to rob and kill someone. It was supply and demand, simple as that.

I feel God has always watched out for my brother and I, because he knows our hearts. The government sells liquor and cigarettes along with prescription drugs that help one thing and hurt another every day. I haven’t read one drug law in the Bible or in any of the 10 Commandments. If you do a survey, I guarantee you there are more people addicted to prescribed drugs than street drugs. So, long story short, I did what I felt was necessary for my family and I to survive at the time.

What’s funny is as long as I was just selling drugs, I had no problems. Once I went legit, all of a sudden, I have a 15-year conspiracy indictment from 1990-2005 out of the eastern district of Michigan, where I hadn’t lived since 1989, so I still can’t understand how I got indicted in Michigan.

AllHipHop.com: What would you do differently?

Big Meech: Absolutely nothing, I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “experience is the best teacher.” I’ve learned some of life’s most valuable lessons; I’m still learning something new every day as long as I keep living.

Big Meech and Nelly

AllHipHop.com: Why do you think people idolize you?

Big Meech: I’m not sure it’s correct for me to give an specific reason of why people idolize me, because it’s a matter of opinions and those opinions vary in different age groups, from as young as 10 years old to elderly people. I think everyone has an idol or has someone in their life or in the movies that they idolize.

AllHipHop.com: Do you think they should?

Big Meech: I think to say yes would make me seem very arrogant, but to be looked upon as an idol is a great achievement for all of the years of sacrificing, hard work, and dedication building Big Meech and the BMF reputation and brand. I can’t think of any other man incarcerated for the last seven years that’s still relevant or influential, which I’m not sure if you noticed that when Big Meech and BMF fell so did the economy (LOL) and seriously, that’s not a joke or laughing matter because there is nothing funny about people struggling, I just wonder if you notice the major impact that we had and drastic change for the worse in America’s economy after our incarceration near the end of 2005.

AllHipHop.com: What went through your mind when you heard your sentence?

Big Meech: First, I was told by my lawyers that the judge would probably sentence me to between 20 and 30 years, and with it being my first time, I thought that would mean something. But, the judge seemed to have a problem with my brother and me. At every court proceeding, he was on the prosecution’s side instead of being the mediator that a judge is supposed to be. My brother got sentenced to 240 months for money laundering and 360 months for CCE (Continuous Criminal Enterprise) to run concurrent, so I had to keep my composure and a smile on my face for my family and the standing room-only courtroom.

When the judge asked me did I have something to say, I said, “I’m not going to say I’m sorry, because I’m sorry is for people who got caught.” The judge gave me the same sentence as he gave my brother, and I walked out with a smile. It just broke my heart to see my mother break down in tears while the U.S. Attorney laughed. At the end of the day, I feel God won’t allow me to do 30 years, and I was glad to get an outdate because every day down is another day closer to home.

AllHipHop.com: Why are cocaine kingpins so severely punished?

Big Meech: I’m not sure why the government and federal agencies love to hate “cocaine kingpins.” Seventy percent of the people the government allege to be kingpins have never seen a whole kilo or made a million dollars, so evidently the government has no criteria to determine whether a person is a kingpin or not – because I have met crack dealers who had only a few eight balls and ounces that have kingpin time. Just like when the government tried to charge DJ Drama with the RICO for selling mixtapes. I think someone needs to police the government with their judiciary misconduct and abuse of the constitution and laws.

AllHipHop.com: What do you think your punishment should have been?

Big Meech: I definitely don’t think my punishment should have been this severe. Thirty years for my first time, and that was the plea deal (LOL). I would have gotten a life sentence for ghost dope, and one witness testimony if I had went to trial. I think a few years in prison and community service, detouring children and adults from crime and drugs would’ve been much more sufficient, and I could’ve used my influence in a much more positive way.

Check back for Part Two of our EXCLUSIVE interview with Big Meech, where he talks about his relationship with Young Jeezy, his opinions on Rick Ross, and how he feels about President Barack Obama.

EXCLUSIVE – 21 Questions with Big Meech Part Two: Crack Laws, Obama, and the Jeezy Connection

$
0
0

In Part One of AllHipHop.com’s exclusive interview with Black Mafia Family (BMF) boss Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, he shared his thoughts on the origins of BMF, what he felt his prison sentence should have been, and his thoughts on his iconic status.

In Part Two, Big Meech discusses his thoughts on “Blowing Money Fast,” his relationship with Young Jeezy, and what his days are like inside Lewisburg U.S. Penitentiary, Special Management Unit:

AllHipHop.com: Mandatory sentencing disparities recently changed under President Obama. Any thoughts?

Big Meech: (LOL) Yeah, they changed the crack law twice in 24 years, and it still only helped a few people. We are grateful for the ones that it has helped, but all of the drug laws need to be changed, especially for first-time, non-violent offenders. Everyone deserves a second chance in life. Powder and crack are the same drug in different form. You put 15 grams of baking soda on 35 grams of powder cocaine, then cook the 15 grams of baking soda off to bring it to a rock form of 35 grams or less, depending on how you cook. So, what’s the difference besides the thousand years the judge is going to sentence you to in court for the crack instead of powder? The government knows that crack is sold in predominately Black and Hispanic neighborhoods, so that’s who their targets are to keep the incarceration rate up.

AllHipHop.com: What are your thoughts on the president?

Big Meech: First, I’m thankful that God blessed me to live and see our first Black president. I feel that the president before him made one big mess of America that it is impossible for Obama to clean it up, even if he gets a second term. I feel that all the stimulus packages in the world won’t revamp our economy, if we can’t create new jobs or new ways to make money. Violence is high in most of our Black cities and communities because our children have no guidance or people that they respect enough to listen to at home or in the community.

Hopefully, President Obama will take the time to look out for his people before he leaves office. Bush pardoned the most people ever before he left office, which included John Forte who did seven years of a 14-year prison sentence. I’m not looking for a pardon, although I would take it if he did it for me. I would love to see him change all the drug laws which are too severe and extreme for this day and age. If you look at all the fathers and mothers serving lengthy prison sentences, elderly grandparents are raising their young children. The gap between the children and their grandparents is so far apart that communication and understanding between them is almost impossible. So, there’s a lot of hostility and disrespect between young people and elderly people. Other than that, I think President Obama and his family handle being in the spotlight and the scrutiny that comes with that office very well.

AllHipHop.com: What are your thoughts on prisons in America?

Big Meech: We have the highest incarceration rate in the entire world, over three million people and counting. America is supposed to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. Prison is nowhere near the rehabilitation place the justice system claims it is. They mix nonviolent inmates with violent inmates. Some people come in with three or four years, and end up with 20 or more years, or a life sentence simply because they had to protect themselves. Any and everything can send you to jail or prison in America, and that’s not always the right answer. They need to bring back 65 percent (time served of time sentenced) and parole for federal inmates. In the state of Georgia, you do 35 percent of your time if your crime is non-iolent or drug related. The feds are taking over so many state cases, that people who would’ve gotten probation or county jail time are now getting six years or more.

AllHipHop.com: Describe what your day is like?

Big Meech: (LMFAO). I have to laugh at this question to keep from crying, but trust me, I’m crying inside. I’ve been in the hold on ’23 and 1′ [23 hours in cell and one hour out per day] since June 2011. This SMU sh*t is like a torture camp for real. First, showers are only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Both me and my celly have to cuff up whether one of us is leaving to go to rec, shower, or medical, or if both of us are leaving. Everywhere we go, our hands are in black box handcuffs behind our back with a C.O. holding our cuffs, walking with us. I’m always trying to get out of my handcuffs first because you never know when your celly may have a bad day and jump you while you still have your cuffs on.

There’s three or four fights or stabbings daily, especially since it’s hot. If you disobey them, you’ll get a heavy dose of tear gas, which has the whole building choking and coughing, eyes burning. Then they’ll put you in restraints handcuffed extra tight with a chain around your waist, shackled. I’ve heard grown men cry crocodile tears from their hands swelling and nerve damage from the cuffs. If that’s not enough, they have another form of punishment called “Four Points” where they put you on your back chained around both ankles and wrists in a very cold room with the lights on. Everyone who reads this should look up Lewisburg SMU online and read about the deaths, disfigurements, and inhumane conditions and brutality that goes on in here. So, my days are like a living hell.

AllHipHop.com: How is your family coping?

Big Meech: My family is handling my incarceration the best way that they can, but it’s very hard on my mother and father. My father went to prison for 18 months for money laundering, and both their sons got 30-year sentences which, at their age, seem like life sentences. I’ve been in the worst mood of my bid because my father is in a lot of pain due to diabetes and may have to have both of his legs cut off. I can’t even make a phone call to speak to him or anyone for that matter. I get so frustrated and agitated at times. I have a really strong family bond, so when one of us is going through it, it’s like all of us is going through it.

AllHipHop.com: Do you still talk to Young Jeezy?

Big Meech: I haven’t been able to talk to anyone on the phone for the last five months. The last time I spoke to him was near the end of last year.

AllHipHop.com: How do you feel about his success?

Big Meech: Being the person largely responsible for his success, I’ve always and always will be proud of his success. I would never wish or hope or his downfall for any reasons. I just personally feel that he could do more abut helping me to regain my freedom in a timely fashion, with his success and the position he is in right now in life. For example, [he could say] ‘I could not rest knowing he has a 30-year sentence for a first-time, nonviolent offender. I’m meeting with every reputable attorney in America until I can find one that can at least get him a sentence reduction, if not bring him home…’

…but that’s me and the love I have for him and the majority of people in my B.M.F. family. To be honest, I get ask so many questions about him – from C.O.’s to convicts to random people in the mail – some of which I have no answers for, ’cause for me to have the answers to most of the questions, I would have to have an excuse which there is “NO EXCUSE.”

AllHipHop.com: What do you think of Rick Ross making the song “B.M.F.”?

Big Meech: Actually, I appreciate all of the music that Rick Ross and MMG has put out period. But in 2010, when I first heard my name repeatedly in the “B.M.F.” song, I was like, “Damn, that’s hot.” And it’s a hit. To this day, he has people from all over the world saying, “I think I’m Big Meech,” which is a priceless way of recognizing and paying homage to me and the B.M.F. family. We all have 100% love for Ross and MMG. I think he is a helluva artist and mogul.

AllHipHop.com: Does it bother you that he was once a corrections officer?

Big Meech: (LMAO). I think this question is old and irrelevant, because I have friends and family that are C.O.’s. I’ve ran across some good men and women C.O.’s. I think that Ross is a great example of being a dreamer and dreams coming true, just from what I know about him being with Suave House and writing rhymes and rapping and for all the years he stuck with it. And now he has built a brand and an empire. So the answer is no, it doesn’t bother me that he was a C.O. It would only bother me if he was a “rat.”

AllHipHop.com: Or that he is in a fight with “Freeway Ricky Ross” for the use of his name?

Big Meech: I know “Freeway” but I’ve never spoken to him about his name, but in my opinion, if I felt that we had to get an understanding about the use of my name, then we would arrange a meeting at everyone’s convenience in a comfortable environment not a courtroom. I personally don’t see anything wrong with him using the name. I think he made the Rick Ross name popular and positive; it would be great and more beneficial if they did some charity events together instead of some senseless feud.

AllHipHop.com: Would you ever permit an aspiring rapper to use your name?

Big Meech: I wouldn’t have a problem with it as long as he’s good at his craft, especially if he’s as successful as Rick Ross and 50 Cent. Both of those men made their names worldwide household brands, and I respect both of their grinds to success. They both are very blessed, whether they realize it or not.

AllHipHop.com: Is it possible that you could come home?

Big Meech: I have an out-date where I could come home one day, but I’m not trying to wait until the “Elroy Jetson” date of 2032 that the BOP has given me. If some of these political figures, ACLU, or NAACP would speak up and stand up for me, which would put my unjust 30-year plea deal in the spotlight, I probably would’ve been home three or four years ago. Those types of people only seem to speak up once one of us has been killed, then it’s too late. If enough people come together with voting power, I could see a change in my sentence or come home, just like when Russell Simmons helped change the RICO law in New York.

AllHipHop.com: How do you keep your sanity?

Big Meech: I’ve been through so much in my lifetime to make me the strong-minded man that I am. They can’t break what they didn’t create, so I stay focused on the future and being free again. I try to stay in tune with what’s going on in the world today in music, entertainment, technology, and sports, just to feel like I’m still up on everything. But for real, I refuse to lose anything more than the time I have already lost that I can never get back. They can’t undo what I’ve already done and they can’t change or erase my memories and history. I know I have more life ahead of me than behind me so like I said in my letter on MySpace in 2006, “Nothing beats the trials of the present like the EXPECTATIONS of the future.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: A Lot Of Talk From Illseed

L. Boogie gets the award for worse mug shot from a female rapper.
Dag on! This is crazy! I am not feeling the fact that Lauryn Hill should have gone to the stylist before her mug shot date. Anyway, she’s definitely still one of the greatest ever, but I really want her to reconsider her fashion choices. Not to call her ugly, but she is basically in need of consultation. This was the result of a conviction on tax evasion. She faces 3 years in the bing and will find her fate in November. I bet you she gets no time.

Bizzy Bone Needs To Join DeBarge!

This is what I do know, Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs could very well be a lost member of DeBarge! Check out this video!

The Mobb Deep Saga Deepens….

Havoc released a video for the Prodigy diss song “Separated.” I don’t see any way this group can get back together. But, why isn’t P saying anything?

Big Meech Thinks Young Jeezy Should Ride For Him More!

Did you read the AHH Exclusive with Big Meech? I read the whole thing and in it, Meech reveals a lot. But, he talks extensively about Young Jeezy and his feelings on the rap star/ trap star. Check out the quotes below and links to both parts are below!

21 Questions with Big Meech: AllHipHop.com’s EXCLUSIVE Two-Part Interview

EXCLUSIVE – 21 Questions with Big Meech Part Two: Crack Laws, Obama, and the Jeezy Connection

He speaks very favorably of Rick Ross, so hit that LANK!

BMF is looking to make a return to the rap game. The crew has done a lot of moves in the past and some of the key members like Big Meech are now in jail. But, that has not stopped the show. Blu Davinci is back in the saddle and he’s pushing a new artist named Tabius Tate. He has a new song called “One More Shot” from the upcoming BMF compilation “Respect The Unexpected” dropping Spring 2013 featuring Bleu Davinci, Tabius Tate, Calico Jonez, David Gray and Markque.

AHA!

But, that’s not all. They are also reportedly looking to pull a petition together to get Big Meech out of jail. WeWe’ll see how that goes. I wonder if there will be any beef with other artists that aren’t so BMF-affiliated. You know who they are.

Here is BMF’s message to the haters.

They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry! -illseed.

Bleu DaVinci Speaks On BMF, Rick Ross, and Helping The Youth

(AllHipHop News) While at SXSW in Austin this weekend Black Mafia Family affiliate Bleu DaVinci spoke with the Sway in The Morning show about a range of topics including what’s next for the rapper and Big Meech’s reaction to Rick Ross’ hit single “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” where the Miami rapper compared himself to the convicted drug trafficker and founder of BMF Entertainment.

According to DaVinci, Meech (born Demetrius Flenory) saw the Ross line, “I think I’m Big Meech,” as a way of paying homage.

DaVinci says after contacting Meech about the single, both of whom were imprisoned at the time, Meech relayed a message back to him that he was a fan of the song and loved the fact that his name could be heard on the radio.

The “B.M.F.” song ignited an ongoing feud between former collaborators and labelmates Ross and Young Jeezy. Jeezy had been a longtime associate of Meech and BMF, and he apparently took offense to Ross’ use of the moniker. He eventually released a response record over the same beat- “Death Before Dishonor.”

Jeezy has a line on the track where he says:

This one’s for Baby Bleu/How you blowin money fast, you don’t know the crew? Oh you part of the fam, shit I never knew

The reference to Bleu in “Death Before Dishonor” was back in 2010, since then DaVinci and the entire BMF crew have had a falling out with Jeezy. He told Power 105.’s The Breakfast Club in early 2012 that BMF has issues with Jeezy now for not assisting with Meech’s lawyer fees but still claiming to be a part of Black Mafia Family.

As far as Ross shouting out BMF, DaVinci told Sway that he doesn’t feel anyone should have been offended by his ode to Big Meech.

“I didn’t have no issue with it. I don’t feel like anybody else should of had an issue with that,” says DaVinci. “Whoever can latch onto something we did or we doing and can better themselves from it, make some money, feed their kids, I’m with that.”

Bleu also extends his acceptance of others using the BMF brand to grow their own wealth to outside the music world.

“I’m not mad at people that put out books [about B.M.F.], or I’m not mad at people that do documentaries,” says Davinci. “As long as you ain’t running around doing something stupid and you doing something positive…That’s what we made this for.”

Bleu is moving the Black Mafia Family in a more positive direction overall. Since being released from prison he has been giving motivational speeches, sponsoring toy drives, and mentoring young people.

Up next is more music. DaVinci has been in the lab at Patchwerk Studios in Atlanta and has already recorded more that 150 songs.

Bleu DaVinci released his mixtape The Davinci Code hosted by DJ Scream in 2012. The project featured guest appearances from Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Pusha T, Bun B, and more.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Big Meech Coming Home?

At first I thought Big Meech was coming home, but there is something else happening. If you know about BMF, then you know about “The White House.” The White House is owned by Demetrius Edward Flenory aka Big Meech of BMF, who the Feds say is an infamous drug dealer. BUT, I should say WAS the owner, because I am hearing that it has recently been sold to Atlanta Attorney, Catherine G.  McCauley. McCauley ALLEGEDLY had a very cool relationship with Meech back in the day and this purchase is raising some eyebrows. Its getting some people to believe that the big homie Meech may be coming home and this is the set up. The White House was close to being turned over to the government, but my sources say this lawyer got it! Its a beautiful space, valued at about $358,000.

Maybe she’s setting up for Meechie’s return!?! Or just now owns a dope home. Literally!

I am getting a LOT of emails sent to me from people that are hoping to slam the other “side” over Big Meech. As you know, you can’t take it with you – to hell or jail. And Meech is kinda in both. I’m not going to say who, but a woman claiming to be Big Meech’s “wifey” is all over instagram. She’s doing the selfies HEAVY! IF I had to guess, I would say she’s a stripper too. But, I don’t know – she thick though. She reps that Free Big Meech heavy. Anyway, some of her haters are saying a LOT. She’s allegedly living off that old money from the BMF days. She’s also allegedly buying all Meech’s stuff back for him. Sounds like a plan to me! Also, this wifey allegedly started out as a pen pal for the big man, my “hater” has stated. By the way, the new wife stresses she is making all her money LEGALLY.

(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent’s verbal assault on Sean “Diddy” Combs is still ongoing. Forbes’ 5th richest Hip Hop mogul fired more shots at the magazine’s #1 richest mogul while speaking with DJ Self.

Once again Fiddy takes aim at was he sees as Puff’s lack of hits. He states that his success with French Montana’s “Pop That” was luck based on the Luke sampled used for the track and adds Diddy’s recent single “Big Homie” is not working.

“That is definitely not popping,” said 50 about the track. “He said he’s Big Meech? Like he’s Rich Porter. Puffy’s a college student, party promoter. That ain’t no gangster.”

50 adds falling off a skateboard and hitting your head is the only way someone could think Diddy’s Last Train To Paris album is “hot.” When asked about keeping New York unified, 50 responds that Diddy is now in Miami.

“Ain’t they in Miami now? Ain’t he in Miami now?” he sarcastically asked. “He ain’t even in New York no more. They on ‘Star Island’ sniffing everything.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Big Meech Put The Word Out On Rick Ross?

I am glad to be a nerdy kinda guy. Because these dudes ain’t playing. The word on the streets is BIG MEECH himself, put the word out on Rick Ross and that was executed by others, possibly Trick Trick. Now, if you didn’t know, Trick Trick issued a PSA about his involvement or non-involvement in the case. I wasn’t clear after the video ended, but it sure seemed like it. Also, the Detroit concert in question was on Big Meech’s birthday, which may have been a cause for contention especially if Rozay planned to rock his biggest hit (“B.M.F.”). Now if you don’t know Meech, I suggest you google that, but its well known you don’t mess with him or BMF. Seems like some folks feel Ross should have paid his hood tax, but Trick Trick said he personally didn’t do anything like that. By the way, Meech is serving a 30-year prison term so he’s exercising his power from there.

That story is over here:

(AllHipHop News) When Drake rapped “Take a flick. I look like Meechy, look like Bleu DaVinci,” on “Ten Bands” he apparently earned the respect of incarcerated BMF leader Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory. That’s according to Bleu DaVinci himself. The BMF entertainment affiliate did an interview with DJ Smallz Eyes where he spoke about Drizzy.

“[Meech] let me know recently when I do see Drake to give him a pound and a hug, because he really appreciated the shout out,” said DaVinci. “When you’re in prison and the top dog in the industry says your name, everybody in the day room’s like, ‘Ohhh!'”

DaVinci added the Toronto native now has numerous supporters in jail. He declared Drake has backing whenever he is in Los Angeles as well.

“Crips and Bloods, he got all kind of homeboys. He mentioned those two names, his pass got crazy,” DaVinci stated. “He can go anywhere he wants to go in L.A. I’m gonna send them real riders with him… He’ll be able to slide through the whole city and do what he wants.”

LL Asks President Barack Obama To Pardon Black Mafia Founders Big Meech and Southwest T

(AllHipHop News) Rapper LL Cool J has appealed to Barack Obama to pardon incarcerated drug kingpin Big Meech and his brother before the U.S. President leaves office this month.

Meech, real name Demetrius Flenory, headed up infamous crime organization the Black Mafia Family (BMF) and launched his own drug-funded music business called BMF Entertainment, before he and his brother, Terry ‘Southwest T’ Flenory, were imprisoned in 2005.
The siblings are each serving 30-year sentences, but LL Cool J has thrown his support behind the brothers in a bid to have them freed by an executive order.

The rapper/actor has outlined his argument in a lengthy post on Instagram, alongside a picture of the Flenorys during their early days on the street.

“I think these two guys who are both products of my generation could do a lot of good in the community if they were pardoned,” LL wrote. “They were incarcerated for non violent drug offenses.if they were pardoned I’m sure they would do the right thing (sic). It’s a matter of character. From the outside looking in I think they both have it.”

The hip-hop veteran goes on to insist the brothers have shown promise of turning their lives around if given the opportunity to regain their freedom sooner than planned, and could “potentially bring a lot of healing and inspiration to a down trodden community and show all our citizens that the USA is a country where second chances are possible.

“I don’t condone what they did but I understand why they did it,” he continued, insisting those living in rough inner cities will do anything to escape their struggles.

“I really think these guys… should have their cases reviewed. They should receive either a full pardon or at a minimum a sentence reduction. 30 years for a ‘non violent’ charge no matter how large the case may be; Still feels heavy handed to me.”

LL concludes his note by adding, “Let’s all hope it happens for them. Keep your heads up fellas. I’m praying for you. I love our country. I believe this would be a just decision. Pardon Meech and Terry Flenory.”

Obama has yet to comment on the pardon effort, but he doesn’t have much time to take action – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will take over the White House following his inauguration on 20 January.
